Living with Migraine

Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Headache/Migraine Disease Awareness Image of Human Sculpture with exposed brain

You Are Not Alone!

On occasion, most people will experience a headache from time to time.  But those suffering from chronic headache disease, can have a difficult time deciphering between what could be a “common” occurrence type of headache and what is something more significant.

Often times these types of headaches can be a type of pain that is incredibly difficult to manage.  I want to assure all of those reading this now; that whether you have been told by others that you are making too much out of your pain, or that you feel like you are going crazy at times --
your experience is real!

According the American Migraine Foundation,  approximately one billion people worldwide are currently living with migraine disease.

In this section, I will provide insight, as to what I have learned about headaches and migraine disease while on my journey.  I will also provide wonderful resources for you to explore for yourself.

I believe that knowledge is power.  The more we learn about this disease; the more we can do to help ourselves and those we love, cope with all that comes with living with migraine.  Let's learn to thrive together.

Below are links to the few headache organizations I had mentioned on this page, but keep exploring for more great resources.
