Having had the amazing fortune of starting my own website this past year, to review books of my choosing, has been life changing to say the least. So many books that I have had the good fortune to read and review have been great. As an avid reader, there are times where, after I have finished a book, I still find myself thinking about it at odd times through-out the day.
Other times I have not wanted to start reading a new book because the one I just finished was so epic in my mind. In the book community it is referred to as a “Book Hangover.” So, as I look back at my past eight months as a book reviewer, I have compiled a list of my top 10 books of 2018, the ones to give me the “Book Hangover” feeling. It was hard enough to compile this list, so there was absolutely no way I could rank them in any particular order, leaving me to list them alphabetically by author. My hope is that you will find something that will speak to you. Maybe you will discover a new author or sub-genre in the contemporary romance landscape. Regardless, I would love to hear what you think about this list and what your top 10 list would be. So please reach out and let me know. Without further delay, here are Lit-Up My Mind’s Top 10 of 2018! Thank you for an amazing 2018 and your continued support! As Always, Happy Reading! -- Laura
